ABOUT SOINTULA WINTERFESTIVAL

Sointula Winterfestival venues

Almost 50 years ago Sointula Winterfestival was started by a few locals on Malcolm Island, BC, coming together to craft and share within the community.

Over the years, it grew and morphed into a three-day event, complete with workshops, a craft fair, and a crowd-favourite evening performance of incredible local talent and skits.

Then 2020 arrived and ‘Winterfest’ took a 2-year break. (You all know why ;-))

Now we’re back and growing again! Hope you can come check out what the buzz has been about for almost half a century at Sointula Winterfestival!
